If anyone didn’t get a chance to see my art show, it will be open tonight and tomorrow at 8 and Friday at 7. It comes down Saturday, so go see it if you haven’t yet (or if you just can’t get enough)!
Muse Music 151 N and University Ave
I just wanted to announce that my BFA senior show will officially be hung April 28th and will exhibit until May 16th. I think I’m going to go paint now!
So, if you know me, you know that I’m kind of obsessed with John Green, his novels and Crash Course youtube videos. So good!
I wanted to blog about something really cool that John Green’s wife, Sarah Urist Green, is putting together. She has experience as a curator and she has organized an opportunity for people all over the world to create art based off of assignments created by different professional artists. I’m so excited about this! Everyday we get to collaborate together as a society and as part of the human race, but being able to create art all together is empowering and bonding. I can’t wait to see what all happens and I can’t wait to make some rad art. Art Power!

First Episode and Assignment:
Man, I had so much fun with this show, It was a blast! Also, thank you so much to everyone who came out to see me and my art. Shucks, you guys are the best!
I love that I was able to show during the month of Febrary, cause that means that I was able to give all of my Valentine’s from last year some shine and polish and it gave me motivation to turn out some new ones!
I went with a 50’s theme this year based off of some Gidget and Elvis references…and I might have added a mustache, which added an element of Danger. Get them at my Society6 page!
I also had such a terrific time painting this Killer Queen piece. Mmm, I just think Freddie Mercury’s voice is delectable!
If you missed the opening night, don’t worry! There’s these pieces and bunch of other cool new illustrative treats up at Muse Music all month long!
Also, big thanks to my mom and bro. They are my superheroes!
